Chetan Bhagat.
What is it
about?
It's
a sweet love story of Chetan Bhagat himself. It's about a couple from totally
different family background who fell in love and wanted to get married with the
blessings of their parents. Most of the couple in love face this issue where
family background becomes a barrier. Today some communities accept inter cast marriages
and some are totally against it. The people who suffer the most are the girl
and boy in love. This story is of a couple struggles to overcome this barrier.
To find out how they achieve their goals please read the book.
Expectation
My expectations from the book
were high as I had heard a lot about Chetan Bhagat and his writing. It was my
first Chetan Bhagat novel suggested by my friend. It did live up to my
expectations as I like reading romantic novels.
Cover and
Design
The cover of the book is like all
other Chetan Bhagat’s book, the cover tell half of the story and creates
suspense. The book is not too fat, a total of 269 pages.
Characters
Krish, Is a Panjabi boy completing his IIT studies and lives
away from his parents in a boys hostel. He is a person with a strong will power
and a soft heart. Who loved his girl and his family.
Ananya Swaminathan, Is a tamilian girl who is in the same
college as Krish. Also lives in a girls hostel away from her parents. She is famous
among her friends. A sweet and bubbly girl a personality anyone would fall in
love with.
